Blitzkrieg

Blitzkrieg is an English heavy metal band formed in 1980 in Leicester, England. The band’s current members are Brian Ross – vocals, Ken Johnson – guitars, Guy Laverick guitars, Paul Brewis – bass and Phil Brewis – drums. During its long career, the band has released 10 records. The debut single Buried Alive was released in 1981. It contained the title song and the other their hit Blitzkrieg. This song was covered by a popular American heavy metal band Metallica. According to Metallica’s drummer Lars Ulrich, Blitzkrieg was one of the main Metallica’ influences. The debut album A Time of Changes was released in 1985.
