Blind Melon is an American alternative rock/grunge band formed in 1989 in California, the United States. The band’s lineup consists of Christopher Thorn (guitar, steel guitar, mandolin, harmonica), Rogers Stevens (guitar, piano), Brad Smith (bass, flute, backing vocals), and of Glenn Graham (drum kit, percussion). During its career the band has released four studio albums, two compilation albums and one live record. The debut self-titled album has become the breakthrough to the mainstream success for the band. The hit single “No Rain” reached the top spot of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and of the Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song also peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted on the UK singles charts.
