Blaque

American R&B and hip-hop band Blaque from Atlanta, Georgia, was formed in 1999. The group's members are Natina Reed, Shamari Fears and Brandi Williams. Initially, the act was created under the name Blaque Ivory. They participated in different local festivals and shows. In the late 1990s, they signed a contract with both Left Eye Productions and then to Columbia Records. After this deal, they started recording their self-titled debut album, which reached number 23 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop chart. It produced several singles such as "808", "Bring It All to Me" and "I Do". The album's lead single, "808", reached number Top Ten in the USA. This record also was certified platinum.
