Christopher Rios, better known as his stage name Big Pun (short for Big Punisher) was born on November 9, 1971 in New York City, New York, the United States and died on February 7, 2000 in White Plains, New York, the U.S. He died of heart attack and left his wife and three children. He was an American rapper who has released two studio albums. The last album Yeeeah Baby was issued as it was planned in April 2000. The album was completed before his death. The debut album Capital Punishment was released in 1998. The album smashed the stores and was finally certified 9 x Platinum in the U.S. and Gold in Canada. It reached number 1 on the Top R&B and Hop-hop Albums and number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
