Big Black

Big Black was an American noise rock group formed in Evanston, Illinois, US. It was active in 1982-1987. The band former members are Steve Albini, Dave Riley, Santiago Durango, Jeff Pezzati, Patrick Byrne, Melvyn Belli and Roland. The band didn’t reach any significant commercial success but influenced a lot on industrial rock. The band’s lyrics was provocative and that’s why the group got much attention. The group became prominent with their debut album Atomizer which gave them the wrong fame of being racist and sexist though it was only jokes in lyrics. But in 2006 the group reunited just to play several songs at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Touch and Go Records , they were "Cables," "Dead Billy," "Pigeon Kill," and "Racer X".
