American swing and big band collective Big Bad Voodoo Daddy from Ventura, California was created in 1989. The group comprises Scotty Morris (lead vocals and guitar), Kurt Sodergren (drums and percussion), Dirk Shumaker (double bass and vocals), Andy Rowley (baritone saxophone and vocals), Glen Marhevka (trumpet), Karl Hunter (saxophones and clarinet), Joshua Levy (piano, arranger) and Tony Bonsera (trumpet). They are best known for a collection of hit singles such as "Go Daddy-O", "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)" and "Mr. Pinstripe Suit". In the late 1990s, they released their most popular compilation album, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, which was highly praised by musical critics. It also received gold certification in the US.
