Bellowhead

English folk and easy listening music band Bellowhead was formed in 2004. The band's current line-up comprises Jon Boden (lead vocals, fiddle, tambourine, kazoo, whistle), John Spiers (melodeon, concertina, kazoo, vocals), Benji Kirkpatrick (guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, vocals, kazoo), Rachael McShane (cello, fiddle, kazoo, vocals), Paul Sartin (slide whistle, kazoo, vocals), Sam Sweeney (kazoo, vocals, whistle) and Pete Flood (percussion, frying pan, glockenspiel). In early 2004, they made their debut at the first Oxford Folk Festival. Their performance was praised by critics, and as a result, they released their debut EP, Onymous, through their own record label. They achieved mainstream success with their following album, Matachin (2008), which produced several singles such as "Roll Her Down The Bay", "Vignette I", "I Drew My Ship Across The Harbour" and "Kafoozalum/The Priest's Miss".
