Belanova is a Mexican synth-pop and dance band formed in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 2000. The band composes of Denisse Guerrero (lead vocalist), Edgar Huerta (programmer and keyboardist), and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola (bass). The band has released five studio albums and quickly gained popularity in their home Mexico and in other countries of the Latin America. The breakthrough to the mainstream success happened with a release of their second album Dulce Beat in 2005. The album reached number one in Mexico and number 59 in the US.
