Beach House

American dream pop and indie rock duo Beach House from Baltimore, Maryland, was formed in 2004. The band comprises Alex Scally on guitar and keyboards and Victoria Legrand on vocals and organ. Legrand is the niece of french composer Michel Legrand. The group's influences include The Zombies, Brian Wilson, Neil Young, Big Star & Chris Bell. In 2006, Beach House released their self-titled debut album, Beach House, which you may download in mp3 from our site. It included the songs, "Saltwater", "Childhood" and "Lovelier Girl". The album was named the 16th best album of 2006 by Pitchfork Media. Their second album, Devotion, was released in 2008 and debuted at number 195 on the Billboard Chart. The album was received with greater acclaim and also was included in Pitchfork's Best Albums of 2008 list. Devotion's lead single was "Gila".
