BB King

BB King, real name Riley B. King, born on September 16, 1925 in Itta Bena, Missisipi, the U.S. is an American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and he’s commonly called “King of Blues”. Critic acclaim and wide popularity made him one of the most respected and famous bluesmen not only in the United States but all around the world as well. According to the 2003 Rolling Stone poll, BB King is at the third place in the list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All time. He received multiple Grammy Awards in such categories like Lifetime Achievement, Best Traditional Blues Album and was inducted into Grammy Hall of Fame for his song The Thrill is Gone. He was one of the first artists to be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it happened in 1987.
