Damon Gough, better known as his stage name Badly Drawn Boy is an English alternative rock singer-songwriter born on October 2, 1969 in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England. Q magazine included him in their list of 50 Bands to See Before You Die. However, he also featured another list of 5 Bands That Could Go Either Way. During his career, he has released five studio albums. The Hour of Bewilderbeast is his debut album issued in 2000. The album received critical acclaim and became a winner of the Mercury Music Prize.
