Babys

British rock and pop rock band The Babys was active from 1976 to 1980. The band's members were vocalist and bassist John Waite, drummer Tony Brock, Keyboard player and guitarist Michael Corby and guitarist Wally Stocker. Originally, the act was founded by Mike Corby. In the beginning, they performed at local club called Smalls Café that was located on the Fulham Road in London. Exactly there, they caught the attention of the record manager Adrian Millar. As a result, they signed a contract with record label and started recording their self-titled debut album, which was released in the late 1970s. This album reached number 133 in the US and number 45 in the UK. It also received mainly positive reviews from critics. A year later, they produced their following album entitled On The Edge, which yielded several singles such as "Turn And Walk Away", "Sweet 17", "She S My Girl" and "Darker Side Of Town".
