Grammy Award-nominated Jamaican reggae, dancehall and reggae fusion singer-songwriter Baby Cham (birth name Damian Beckett) was born on February 24, 1977, in Kingston, Jamaica. In the late 1990s, he signed a contract with Artists Only Records and Madhouse labels. He rose to fame in 2000 with his breakthrough and commercially successful album, Wow... The Story, which spawned several singles such as "The Mass", "Funny Man", "Ghetto Pledge", "Boom/Can I Get A". Following the success of his first work, he released his next album, Ghetto Story, which yielded his biggest hit "Ghetto Story". He is also well known for his collaboration with various artists such as Foxy Brown, Alicia Keys, Carl Thomas, Shawn Mims, Akon, and T-Pain among others.
