Bobby Ray Simmons, better known under his stage names Bobby Ray or B.o.b. is an American rapper, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born on November 15, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States. He is influenced by 80s music, rap, rock, funk, even doo-wop. He released his debut album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray in 2010. The album was released through Atlantic / Grand Hustle Records. The album has become a real hit and topped the Billboard 200, Top Rap Albums chart and Top R&B/Hip-hop Albums. The album was quite popular in Australia and in Canada. It was supported by two hit singles - "Nothin' on You" (featuring Bruno Mars), reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and certified Platinum in the U.S. and "Airplanes" (featuring Hayley Williams) reached number 5 on the Billboard.
