Ayaka Iida, known as Ayaka is a Japanese female pop singer born on December 18, 1987 in Moriguchi, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. She moved in Tokyo in order to pursue her recording career. The debut single “I Believe” has become one of the fastest downloadable singles reaching 1 million downloads and becoming third highest selling downloadable debut single for a Japanese artist. The single featured the debut album First Message which reached number one on the Oricon charts and it has been certified diamond by RIAJ. The album spawned other hit singles like Melody: Sounds Real, Real Voice and Mikazuki. The last one was certified Gold and became the single number one.
