Awesome Color

American garage rock revival and alternative rock band Awesome Color from Brooklyn, New York City, New York, was founded in 2004. The band's current comprises Michael Troutman, Allison Busch and Derek Stanton. Originally, the act was created by Michael Troutman (also known as Michael Awesome). Their music is heavily influenced by Detroit garage rock sounds. In early 2004, they caught the attention of Thurston Moore, who later helped the band to sign a contract with Ecstatic Peace label. Several years later, they released their self-titled debut album, which received good critical acclaim. Awesome Color received very good critical acclaim.
