Spanish heavy metal and power metal band Avalanch from Asturias, was formed in 1993 and currently comprises Alberto Rionda (founder), Dany León, Fran Fidalgo, Marco Álvarez, Ramón Lage and Roberto Junquera. Alberto Rionda is a Spanish famous guitarist. He is also known as a composer, lyricist, arranger, keyboardist, sound technician and producer in his own recording studio, "Bunker Studios". The band released its debut album, La Llama Eterna, in 1997. Later, this album was re-released in English and titled Eternal Flame. In 1999, they released their following album, Llanto De Un Héroe, which became very popular in Spain. It also contained several singles such as "Intro", "Torquemada", "Por Mi Libertad", "Pelayo" and "Vientos Del Sur". They achieved mainstream success in 2001 with their third album, El Ángel Caído, which produced the band's most popular singles including "Alma en pena", "Corazón negro", "Delirios de grandeza" and "Antojo de un Dios".
