August Burns Red

August Burns Red is an American metalcore band formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the US in 2003. The current line-up consists of Jake Luhrs, JB Brubaker, Brent Rambler, Dustin Davidson and Matt Greiner. The band began to play when some of the members were still in high school. They played around Lancaster and gained popularity on the local scene. Since then the band has released 3 albums – Thrill Seeker, Messengers and Constellations. The band toured a lot around the world, they visited not only Europe, but Middle East as well, playing at Dubai Desert Rock Festival. They toured also with likes as As I Lay Dying and Misery Signals. August Burns Red are often defined as Christian metalcore.
