As Tall As Lions is an American alternative/indie rock band from Long Island, New York, the United States. The band was formed in 2001 by school friends Dan Nigro (vocals, guitar, piano), Saen Fitzgerald (guitar, drums), Brian Fortune (guitar) and Cliff Sarcona (drums). Right now the band’s line-up composes of the same persons except for Brian Fortune who was replaced by Julio Tavarez. During it’s career the band has released three studio albums – Lafcadio (2004), As Tall As Lions (2006), You Can’t Take It With You (2009). The band is signed to Tripple Crown Records and only the last their album entered the charts peaking at number 88 on the Billboard 200. The self-titled album received only positive reviews and AbsolutePunk ranked it nine out of ten, comparing the band to U2, The Mars Volta and Damien Rice.
