Argent

Argent were an English progressive and hard rock band formed in 1968 by keyboardist Rod Argent, ex-The Zombies. The original members were also Jim Rodford (bass), Robert Henrit (drums), Russ Ballard (guitarist/keyboardist). Lead vocalists were Ballard and Argent. The songs for the band were written by Argent, Chris White (ex-Zombies bassist) and by Russ Ballard. Some of the band’s songs became popular after they were covered by other acts, including such famous bands like Kiss, Rainbow, Hello, Santana. The band’s biggest hit was “Hold Your Head Up” which featured their third studio album “All Together Now”. You can download this album by Argent in mp3 from our site. In total the band released eight studio albums. There has been released many compilations and the last one Greatest: the Singles Collection was issued in 2008.
