ARASHI

Arashi (means “storm”) is a Japanese pop boy band formed in 1999 and consisiting of Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya and Jun Matsumoto. For the first time the band was announced in September 1999 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The band’s style can be classified as different forms of pop music including elements of hip hop and R&B. The band is a pop idol in Japan and is known to all fans of J-pop around the world. During its career the band has released eight studio albums and three compilation albums. Almost all their albums except for the second and third ones reached the top spot of the Japanese charts. All their singles except few ones topped the charts as well. Some of their most popular tracks are Hitomi no Naka no Galaxy/Hero, Sakura Sake, Lucky Man, Fuyu No Nioi, A Day in Our Life, Tomadoi Nagara and many others.
