Appleseed Cast

American indie rock, emo, post-rock and experimental music band Appleseed Cast from Lawrence, Kansas, was formed in 1997. The group comprises Christopher Crisci, Aaron Pillar, John Momberg and Nathan Whitman. Originally, the act was founded under the name December's Tragic Drive. In the late 1990s, they signed a contract with Deep Elm Records and started recording their debut album entitled The End of the Ring Wars (1998). The album yielded several singles such as "Marigold & Patchwork", "Antihero", "On Sidewalks", "Moment #72" and "Stars". The End of the Ring Wars was heavily influenced by indie rock music sounds. Several years later, they produced their following album entitled Low Level Owl Vol.2. This record received generally positive reviews from critics.
