Aion

Aion is a Polish gothic metal band that was formed in Poznań, Poland in 1996. The current band members are Marcin Patyk - vocals, Daniel Jokiel - rhythm guitar, Artur "Methal" Szymański - bass guitar, Dominik "Młody" Jokiel - lead guitar and Marek Wawrzyniak - drums. The band embarked on the Polish music scene in 1996 recording their debut demo and signing a contract with local label Morbid Noizz Productions. The debut album Midian came out in 1997. The band quickly gained popularity among metal audience and received a “debut of the year” award from Metal Hammer readers (Polish edition). The band embarked on a tour sharing the stage with such bands like Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Artrosis, Vader, Love Like Blood and others. The band signed Massacre Records and gained some popularity abroad playing at the Wacken Open Air festival. You can download Aion’s debut album in mp3 from our site.
