Adolescents

American punk rock, hardrock and skate punk band The Adolescents from Fullerton, California, was formed in 1980. The band comprises Tony Cadena (vocals), Steve Soto (bass, vocals, guitar), Frank Agnew (lead guitar), Mando Del Rio (drums), Matt Beld (rhythm & lead guitar) and Joe Harrison (rhythm guitar). Originally the band was formed by Steve Soto after leaving Agent Orange in December 1979. The original line-up was led by frontman Tony Cadena, with Steve Soto on bass, Frank Agnew on guitar, John O'Donovan on guitar and Peter Pan on drums. They signed with Frontier Records in 1981. In 1987, they released their breakthrough album, Brats in Battalions, which quickly became one of the best-selling California hardcore albums. This album also produced several singles such as "Do the Freddy", "Losing Battle", "House of the Rising Sun" and "Peasant Song".
