Across Five Aprils

Across Five Aprils (often A5A) was an American post-hardcore band formed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the United States in 2001. The band’s name comes from Irene Hunt’s novel about American Civil War. The band disbanded in 2008. The final line-up composed of Brandon Mullins (vocals), Steve Wooteon (drums), Josh Dycus (bass), Zak Towe (guitar) and Adam Nordmeyer (guitar). The band signed Indianola Records and released their debut album A Tragedy in Progress in 2003. The album received critical and fans acclaim and allowed the band to embark on various tours. They shared the stage with the likes My Chemical Romance, Norma Jean, Underoath, Haste the Day, Atreyu and others. The band released their second album Collapse with Indianola in 2006.
