Absu

Absu is an American black metal band originally formed in 1989 in Plano, Texas, United States, under the name of Dolmen but in 1991 they changed it to Absu. Current line-up is Proscriptor McGovern, Zawicizuz, Aethyris MacKay, Ezezu. Absu released 7 studio albums and the last one self-titled is available for downloading in mp3 from our site. For some time the band was on hold due to Proscriptor’s injury and during that time some members left the group. Proscriptor collaborated with Slayer but later he and Equitant put together rare Absu recordings and released Mythological Occult Metal: 1991-2001 in 2005. Other Absu albums are Tara, In the Eyes of Ioldánach, The Third Storm of Cythraul, The Sun of Tiphareth and Barathrum: Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultul Lapidem (V.I.T.R.I.O.L.)
