Abraxas

Abraxas is a German band. It was formed in 1985 in Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg. Abraxas' musical genre is a mix of metal, rock and power-metal. The band was formed by Jan Muller and Heiko Burst. In 1988, the band recorded the demo-album "Vampire". In 1989, the band released the EP Shattered by a Terrible Prediction. EP was recorded by label "Multimedia Publishing". Abraxas issued about 1000 vinyl-copies of this EP. At that time, the band performed at the concerts of other popular bands. In 1989, the band released the next demo-album, Gates to Eden. In 1991, the band released the third demo-album, Signs. In 1992, they won first place at festival of young performers.
